We wanted to ensure that we kept everyone up to date on Augy as we wait for the positive news we are all waiting to hear.

We’ve received an update from Kate this afternoon.

“Still fighting… tiny improvement with one of the specific areas of his kidney function, so that was a nice little positive to hear just a short time ago. I’m going okay at the moment…his nurse has been great today with keeping me informed so it makes things a bit easier”

Kate has been overwhelmed with the support she is receiving from the Club, but in our minds it only reflects how much Augy has put into our Club.

At the family day today, we set up a box for anyone to drop some coins or cash in. We will continue to have it on the bar over the coming weeks to raise some funds to support the family through this difficult time and into the recovery stages for Augy. Even if we can cover their groceries, it’s one less thing they need to think about.
